Eligibility Criteria
Must be registered on One Time Registration (OTR) portal before filling ORA form
Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University with two years’ analytical experience from Government Lab/University OR
Bachelor’s degree (Medical) with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University with two years analytical experience from Government Lab./University
Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per Himachal Pradesh Government rules (up to 5 years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 45 years

Screening Test (Objective Type – 200 questions: 140 General Aptitude + 60 General Knowledge)
