Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: M. Phil. (Rehabilitation Psychology/Clinical Psychology), Certificate/Diploma In Mobility, MBBS, B.Sc. Nursing.
- Essential qualifications: Must be from a recognized Institution/body. Registration with RCI (for psychologists/instructors) or NMC/HP Medical/Nursing Council (for medical staff) is mandatory/preferred.
- Desirable: For Mobility Instructor, preferably Bachelor in Mobility Science or D.Ed. Spl.Ed/B.Ed.Spl.Ed. in Visual Impairment. For Medical Officer, preferably female candidate.
- Experience: Experience will be considered during selection process (1 mark for each complete year if on Govt/Semi-Govt payroll).
Salary/Stipend
Honorarium/Salary per month for each post. No other allowances of any kind shall be admissible.
Railway Job Information
Nurse: ₹ 15,000/- P.M.
Medical Officer: ₹ 60,000/- P.M.
Rehabilitation Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist: ₹ 24,600/- P.M.
Mobility Instructor: ₹ 17,400/- P.M.
Age Limit (as on 01-12-2025)
The age limit is calculated as on 01-12-2025.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by five years in case of candidates belonging to SCs, STs, OBCs, persons with disabilities, widow, divorcee, ex-serviceman of Himachal Pradesh.
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 45 years (for General category).

Selection Process
The selection process depends on the number of eligible candidates:
Nurse Recruitment
Only candidates on the payroll of government/semi-government or registered organizations will have their experience considered for marking.
If less than three eligible candidates: Selection based purely on a personal interview (10 marks) and evaluation of education (5+5 marks) and experience (5 marks), totaling 25 marks.
If more than three eligible candidates: Candidates must appear in a screening test (25 marks, multiple choice questions) and an interview (25 marks).
Merit list will be drawn based on marks obtained in the screening test / interview.
General Information/Instructions
No TA/DA will be given for attending the screening test or interview.
The posts are unreserved (UR).
Appointments are purely on a temporary, annual contract basis and do not confer any right to permanent absorption or regularization.
The services are co-terminus with the grant-in-aid from the government.
Appointees receive only the honorarium; no other allowances are admissible.
The contract may be terminated at any time without notice for non-performance or misconduct.
